Lyvs Dance Recital

A couple weeks ago was Lyvs BIG dance recital. They did a tap dance & then a ballet dance. There ballet dance was part of the Toy Story and they were the little piggies! It was so fun to watch Lyv dance. She absolutely loves dancing and loves her teacher Miss Val. She dances at Dance Showcase, and I can't think of a better place to go to. There show was so cute, and they are so good to the little girls!

Day 12: Picture of the city you live in. AMERICAN FORK. Its home. I love it.

Day 13: Your favorite musician and why? Carrie Underwood. Saw her last year at Stadium of Fire and loved every second of it. She has an amazing voice live which lots of singers don't always have. Also she is BEAUTIFUL. Love country and all her songs :) The end.

Day 14: A tv show your currently addicted to. Lately I've been watching Lie to Me on Netflix. I really like it. Bummed I started watching it because apparently they've stopped filming and its looking like its getting cancelled.

Day 15: Something you don't leave the house with out. These little angels. Its rare for me to go anywhere with out them. We gym together, we work together, we run errands together, we shop together, we play together. As Alyviah says it "Mom, we are your life." So true Lyv.

PICTURE OF A PET YOU'D LIKE TO KEEP: Hmm..I'm not really a fan of pets. But if I had to choose one it would definitely be Sir. Maximus. Even though he bugs me 90% of the time, my kids LOVE him...especially Marley, and he is always so good to play with her even when she squishes him by laying on him. They will definitely be sad when we move and Max is no longer around to play with all the time.

DAY 07: Your dream wedding.

I loved my wedding. We had it at North Hampton house and it was beautiful so my dream wedding would be re-living that day. However there are 2 things I would change...different photographers. They cut Alyviah out of a lot of my pictures and well they just didn't turn out and I'm bitter about it haha. In fact I have none to show you because I didn't pick any out...I do regret that though..I"m sure I could of found 10 to make me happy. Second would be that Alyviah could of been healthy. She had croop or however you spell it and she pooped all over her dress..the bottom of mine, and the floor. I was actually late starting my ceremony because I was cleaning poop off my baby and the floor.

"Today I don't feel like doing anything...I just wanna lay in my bed...don't feel like picking up the phone so leave a message at the tone..Cuz today I swear I'm not doing anything."

Today I had to do a lot...and I dragged through all of it...gym, work, laundry, cleaning, dinner, and playing with the girls...and all I want to do is sit down, watch tv and do NOTHING

This is my BEST FRIEND!!!

I absolutely love and adore him. This is one of my many favorites I have...I picked this one because I couldn't find my other ones haha and because there is nothing he loves more then our daughters. He is an amazing dad, and extremely hard worker, and I am eternally grateful for this life we have together. It didn't start out perfect and no one thought we'd get to where we are but we did...and we did because he's always been my Best Friend...I LOVE YOU LOVE BOAT :)

Today I...

woke up got my kids ready & went to the gym at 9:30 with the lovely Lindsey Smith who taught me some weights and gave me a little confidence on them :) Thanks Linds haha.
Came home and fed the kids, got ready and went to work at the gym from 1-4.
Came home and visited with the hubby before he headed off to school and made some dinner.
Bathed the girlies...and cleaned the toy room.
My sweet mom offered to watch the girls...and I went to Zumba class
Came home...played the fishing game with the kiddos and put them to bed.
Now blogging waiting for the hubby to return :)

so thats exactly how my day went..way interesting I know. And I promise I don't usually go to the gym twice a day...a little selfish this I know...just one of those days I needed a break.

Alyviahs 4th Birthday

We decided this year was a good year to start the whole friend party thing.

We rented a room at Monkey Island on Saturday. It ended up being a ton of fun. Thank You to all the family and sweet friends who stuck around to help since Logan couldn't come because he had to be at school :( BOOO!!! But he did make it as we were getting ready to leave so Lyv was way happy about that.

Sunday we had our usual family party and had our close friends and family come over for dinner, cake and ice-cream. Thank you to everyone who came!! We love you all so much!!

Now if you don't want to see A LOT of pictures stop looking at my blog now :)

She decided to go with a Tangled theme. Every year since she turned 2 she's dressed up like a princes...so this year we got her the Rapunzel dress.

It official...our little princess turned 4 today!!

I cant believe she's growing up...it's so weird to think next year she heads off to kindergarten...I don't like thinking about that actually haha.

Things LYV Loves to do at the age of 4 is...

DANCE...not always in her dance class but by herself with her sister
SING...we always sing in the car, and she's started doing performances for us.
Play with her sister Marley...they are Best Friends, and really take care of each other.
Shoes and Dressing Up is a passion :)
Waiting by the window for her dad to get home every night...and playing "cops" with him..she has a phrase she always says as she is putting hand cuffs on someone..."cant stop the cops" its so funny to hear her say it.

Alyviah you are the most AMAZING little girl. I am so blessed to be your mom, and I don't know how I got you but I sure lucked out...you are truly one of a kind.

We had a GREAT Valentines day!!

This Valentines day we really kinda celebrated how much we all love our family!!

So I wanted to make it fun for the girls, so I had them decorate some hearts and we surprised dad at work and went and "hear attacked" his car & left our presents.

They LOVED doing it.

Then we gave the girls there presents, some super cute swimsuits, treats, and there favorite game and video.

Then we had dinner at Texas Road House.

THE STEELERS WON!

If you know my husband, you know he is a HUGE Steelers fan. I think at times, he thinks he's really on the team! So naturally....game day is a big deal around our house :)

Mckay is not a Steelers fan, I think because Logan in his eyes is so over the top, but he couldn't help but support :)

I CAN NOT express how much I ADORE my girls!

This year was so fun! It was the first year Alyviah understood Santa...and it was so fun to see her excitement!! Marley must of been equally excited because she didnt fall asleep till 4 A.M.!!!

Wow I have so much to catch up on.

Life has been so busy there has been no time for blogging.

Alyviah had her first dance recital! She is taking at Dance Showcase and it has been a great experience. She loves to dance, and she has a GREAT teacher, who is wonderful with the girls! She dances with her sweet cousin Emma, and they have a ton of fun together!! There show was the Grinch and they danced to where are you christmas; I'm so glad Alyviah danced, at practice she usually would stop and sing, because that is her FAVORITE song!!

It has been forever since I blogged...FOREVER..I still need to do Halloween, which I will once I am not lazy and upload all of our pictures.

I just wanted to do a quick shout out to my husband! I am so proud of him! He has done so well this last semester in school and in the academy, finishing with A's in most everything.

Each year one person from the academy is given a scholarship for the 2nd block, and we feel so blessed that Logan was chosen for that scholarship. This has been a huge blessing to us, the academy is not cheap and we are grateful for this huge opportunity we have to not have to stress on how we would pay for his schooling!

Thank You to everyone who has supported us this last year, we are so grateful!!

MARLEY SHAY MILITONI

IS 18 MONTHS OLD!!!

I can not believe how fast time has gone by. She has gotten so big, and is starting to look less like a baby and more like a toddler. It's bitter sweet.

At her check up she is in the 43% for weight & 14% for height.

18 things we love about marley...

She is a GREAT little sister, her and Alyviah adore each other.
She LOVES playing 'babies' and loves to cuddle her Teddy Bear.
She has so many cute blankets, but prefers to carry around scrap material, it's her comfort.
She loves to eat and is constantly snacking, I have to change her clothes 2 or 3 times a day because she's always making sticky messes.
She is just barely starting to try and talk...she probably knows about 10 words haha.
She loves H2O...bath time is very enjoyable with her.
She's obsessed with her bink...I'm dreading taking her off of it.
She loves to dance, and can hardly stand when we take lyv to dance, she wants to go into the class so bad...only 18 more months :)
When Logan gets home from work/school she will run to the door.
She is a dare devil...she will jump off of anything and everything, whether your there to catch her or not...yes the poor things fallen down the stairs a couple times :/
She is a master fake cryer...I think she learned that from her big sister!
She thinks EVERYTHING is hers..."mine" is her favorite word :)
She loves playing dance freeze & red light green light, she's getting pretty good at them :)
Her smile and laugh is infectious, you can't look at her with out it making your day
She has a Santa Clause Belly...I LOVE it!!
She loves to give hugs!! Anytime Alyviah cry's even when there in separate rooms you know Marley will be coming around the corner with her arms wide open.
She says hi & bye to anyone and everyone
She is a huge temper tantrum thrower...she will fold her arms then throw herself to the floor, roll on her belly and kick....once she goes through her ritual 2 seconds later she'll be laughing and smiling again.

Marley I am so glad that you are a part of our family! At such a young age you have such a big heart and amazing personality, and you've had it since the day you were born.

First in case you wanted to see lyvs new hair style I took a picture :) It's been pretty easy to hide, and has already grown a little bit!

Saturday we decided to take our sweet girls to Kangaroo Zoo! My girls absolutely LOVE this place, they have a blast every time they go!!

Marley was a little nervous at first; this is her fake cry face.

Friendly Reminder

On Sunday we were making a desert and Alyviah was helping. She had been told numerous amounts of times to back away from the kitchen aide while it was spinning, she did, so our back was turned for literally 5 seconds when the most heart breaking scream was heard.

Alyviah had leaned over just real quick to get a peek and it caught her hair and twisted extremely tight.

The only way to get her head free was to cut it, so on the top of her head she has a nice large patch of one inch hair and on the side of her head a small area where the hair was pulled out so she looks a little bald.

We are so grateful that her hair is the only thing that was lost. Her head was pretty bruised but if we had not reacted quickly or had been anywhere but one step away from the off switch it would of kept spinning and it could have easily taken off her tiny little scalp.

So while the Holidays are coming and your making all those yummy treats, never leave your kitchen aide running unattended even if your only one step away.

LOGAN GOT INTO THE POLICE ACADEMY!

I am so proud of him and we are very blessed he got in!!

There were 29 spots open and 49 people there with applications. For over 2 hours they sat in a class room while they went through each application, and only 4 people didn't do it correctly so 45 people and only 29 spots....they drew out of a box! If you drew a number 1-29 you were in, and our new lucky number is 10!!

He is the youngest person to get in by 5 years..I know he'll do great & were so excited :)

We started out with the Parade which lyv and I were in...of course I forgot my camera but she looked so dang cute!!

Then We went to the Carnival...GROSS...this was the first year I let lyv go, usually I avoid it at all costs but this year she saw it being set up & instantly fell in love...and I'm glad we did go, cuz I got cute pictures and Alyviah had a blast haha

Can I just say..I LOVED having the 4th of july on a Sunday!

We were able to spread out our fun for 3 days..and it was haaamazzing :)

I love July it's my favorite month.

On Saturday we went shopping for the girls outfits for Stadium of Fire..I know so late but it took me till then to convince logan they definitely needed them :)

We first went to Outback then over to Stadium of Fire!

I am in LOVE with Carrie Underwood she did amazing!!

The girls were great..we had ear plugs for Marley so she slept on me...till the fireworks started, she watched them pretty good until they got really fast then she got scared!

Lyvi of course had the ipod watching brother bear with huge Bose headphones on (they don't let any sound in which was so nice since lyv HATES loud noises). so the singing and fireworks would of made her histerical.

Logan suprisingly also really liked the show..he was dreading it because the last one we went to was Miley Cyrus..nuff said right..right!

The rest of the weekend consisted of Family~Friends~Fireworks~And a lot of fun :)

Of course I forgot my camera to all those festivities but enjoy the picture overload of Stadium of Fire :)

They are always fighting when trying to take pics together..usually because lyvs trying to make her participate haha.

My man is the best Daddy.

He adores our girls and is so protective over them, sometimes it can drive you crazy! But I wouldn't have it any other way! One day nana told lyvi that her prince charming was papa..so Lyvi said "Well my prince charming is my dad..and he will dance with me any day." Marley loves playing with her dad she sits on his shoulders and will throw herself back and just laugh and laugh.

Lately she has been BIG into telling stories & so I thought I would share one

Lately money has been tight so were trying to cut down on eating out & extra things that we don't need. We used to take Lyv to walmart and let her pick out a toy about once a week..well now she has plenty of toys and that definitely goes on the list of things we don't need. She is always asking for happy meals etc. So lately she has heard the phrase "not today" A LOT

Second my BEAUTIFUL sister Ashlee graduated Highschool! She worked really hard this year and we are so proud of her, she was able to get her CNA which I think is awesome! She loves to help people so the job just seemed fitting. So she is going to Ecuador over the summer to work in an orphanage, were really excited for her to have that experience, but at the same time she's my best friend, and we always have so much fun in the summer together so selfishely I'm really sad about it, and am going to miss her like crazy!!

As all know we had quite the snow fall (I HATE utah weather)

My sweet husband and Alyviah (who loves the snow and couldn't be more excited when she woke up to it this morning..she said "yay, it's pretending to be christmas"...so funny)

Decided to take full advantage of the cold weather..

And go make a Snow Man...but of course by the time they got all geared up...the snow was mostly GONE!!
So they made a very nice looking Slush Man..

When finished it was like ice so they used batteries for the eyes, and rocks for the mouth, and i'm not sure what the nose was...but they had a blast!!

And by the time they were done...the sun was out, they were dying of heat...and not one snow flake was left on the grass!

(did I say how much i HATE utah weather...just checking)

I have the worlds GREATEST MOM!! I am so grateful for her and all she does for our family! My kids adore her, and are always so excited to see her everyday! She taught me how to do EVERYTHING with lyvi since when I had her I'd NEVER been around babies before, and for that I am very grateful! She is so fun to be around, and she always makes room for us to go to lunch with her every week!!

I am so grateful to be a mom. It is the hardest and most rewarding job anyone can have! I love my girls and I couldn't imagine life with out them! It has been so fun getting to know their unique personalities, they are 100% different and I LOVE THEM!!!

CALIFORNIA OVERLOAD!!

We just got back from an amazing vacation in California!!

So we'll start at the beginning :)

We stopped in Vegas on the way there & we went to Ceasars Palace to show the girls the fish tank...they loved it especially Marley!!!

Here's a pic to show that we FINALLY made it to California but only after me and logan rear ended someone, and were then pulled over all in a matter of 6 minutes!! Alyviah and Emma couldn't wait for disneyland the next morning!

On the first day of Disneyland we took the girls to a place called Bibbidi Bobbidy Boutique!! And if you have little girls I highly suggest this place!! It's worth the money, they get dressed up and get there hair, makeup and nails done, it was Lyvi's favorite thing she did && was happy she got to do it with her cousin Emmalee!! Afterward she saw her friend Quincy at Ashlee's cheer competition and I couldn't help snappin some pics haha, they are adorable together!!

Even though they loved it, the girls were happy to let there hair down!!

We were suprised that Alyviah was brave enough to do some of the rides, she mostly just like the carousel...we did it like five times!!

Disneyland was a blast...Marley was missing in action in a lot of our pictures because it exhausted her & she just slept in the stroller totally oblivous to the fact she was in the happiest place on earth! Her favorite time was at the hotel when she was able to get down and relax!!

(she just found her toungue haha)

We went to Toon Town where they have all the characters houses! It was Alyviah's favorite & she absolutely loved meeting Mickey Mouse; her favorite thing to tell people about this trip is that Mickey kissed her :)

The last day there the Lyvi and Emma finally were able to go to the pool!! They loved it and were making friends with all the kids there! They were so funny because they told everyone there names were Kelsey (Lyvi) and Chelsea (Emma) and would not answer us when we would call them by there real names; but would only reassure there new friends that there names were Kelsey and Chelsea!!

Alyviahs Story

On July 21st 2006, me and my husband were enjoying the summer after our sophomore year when we found out our lives would never be the same. I was pregnant and we were only 16! We struggled for nine months deciding on what to do when three weeks before she was due we decieded to place her for adoption. We cried..and cried, annnd cried for the next 2 weeks. It just never felt right. So we changed our minds....and we decided to become parents! 3 days later I went to the hospital, and after 6 hours of labor and the two hardest, and scariest pushes of my life Alyviah Kae Militoni came into the world at 10:55 pm on March 12, 2007! She was born 5 days early weighing 6 pounds 7 ounces and was 19 inches long!

She was alert and so calm and came into the world smiling!I could not imagine our lives with out this little girl being a part of every minute of it! She has changed our lives and made us better people! The moment we saw her the worry's of was this right....disappeared! She was our little girl; and she chose us!

I am grateful everyday for the huge blessing she is! She is a beautiful spirit with an amazing personality! She is a gorgeous little girl, and if you ever get the chance to really get to know her, I don't know how anyone could not love her! She brings a new adventure into everyday, and I cherish every moment I have with her, because as I'm seeing now...they don't stay babies forever!

I am updating my blog.

Life has been super busy for us,and a blog just felt like too much.

Not a whole lot of excitement really Logans busy working, I'm busy with working and going to school, and our girls are busy getting big and learning new things.

Alyviah is one month from being 3

WOW has it really been that long???

It goes to fast.

In these three short years lyvi has grown too....

Talk way to much, people don't believe that she is only 2 when she talks.
She is obsessed with Little Einsteins
She adores her cousin Emmalee
She needs her Beauty Sleep or watch out.
She is a Princess, and loves dressing up as one...ALL the time, some days she will only answer to Sleeping Beauty
She loves noodles and happy meals
She is a performer, and I can't wait till I can put her in her first dance class.
She is double jointed in one leg and can turn her foot backwards (I couldn't get a good picture, but here it is kind of...)
She is the worlds GREATEST big sister
She has a HUGE heart
She is a GREAT helper
Shes a Mommas girl, but adores her daddy!
She has an AMAZING personality!!
I am blessed to have her as my daughter!!

Marley is soon to be 10 MONTHS old.

Now that's just crazy CRAZY crazy!!

In her short months here we've come to learn that

She will be not as out spoken as lyvi (she is very quite) unless she gets mad, then EVERYONE know it
She only says Momma
She loves anything she can put in her mouth.
She has a very sweet spirit.
We all think she's a chunk but only weighs 16 ibs. which is the 5% but she's only got 6 more pounds and she's caught up to lyvi.
She has an infectious smile and laugh
She loves the dog Sir Maxximus
She is a fast crawler, and is always into EVERYTHING
She loves her sister
She is a HUGE momma's girl
She is tough, she's always hitting her head on our tile, and never crys
She is a HUGE blessing in our lives!!

So not really been blogging recently because 1. this post is very personal to me and i was waiting to go private and 2. I lost my camera! Sad day when I can't show everyone cute pics of my girls!!
But I thought I should blog, because I'm terrible at journals,and i don't want to forget this, so no pictures, but more funny sayings from lyv :)

On Friday the 11th my family was FINALLY sealed together for time and all eternity. It was the most amazing experience of my life, and I would like to thank all of my family and friends for your support on our special day.
I can't believe how blessed me and my little family are. Sometimes I find myself getting discouraged because I don't have all the things I wish I had, however, I know that is so selfish of me, because I have so much more to be thankful for. Like the temple, our family, our kids are healthy, and we have amazing support from my parents and the rest of our extended family. This last week has really helped me put everything in perspective, I know one day I will be able to have all the "material" things, but for now what I have is more than good enough. I have my family, and in the end that is all that will matter!

So if you know Lyv you know she had some funny comments on our special day.

Starting with when ash dropped her off she says to her "sorry, your just not big enough to come in the temple yet"

Then the temple workers who were watching her she named "her girls" and when we took her back to the nursery so we could get changed the temple workers had switched, and lyv says "hey where my girls at?" She said later they were her "best friends"

When she saw me crying when she came in the room, she grabbed my hand and said "mom, are you scared? My girls say not to be scared"

And in the mean time you have Marley with the biggest Smile on her face!

Alyviah && Going Private

I have a very VERY smart 2 year old on my hands! She talks much better then most two year olds, she knows her birthday and how to spell L-Y-V-I! I don't want to forget some of the things she says so I've decided when she says something funny..I'm going to blog about it :)

Today I lay Marley and Alyviah down for their naps (usually lyvi likes taking them with her) Moments later I hear "HELP!" I walk in, and I quote--"Marley said she was going to kill me with her bottle, I can't take a nap with her!"

So funny, and So priceless!!

Now on to business, a little while back mine and logans email accounts got broken into, and someone has been using them pretending to be us...SCARY!!

Disney On Ice

This weekend we took Alyviah and Marley to Disney On Ice-Princesses! It was the cutest show and totally worth the money. Logan got us seats in the 4th row, we were so close to everything it was fabulous! Alyviah loved it, and was so happy to be there she kept saying THANK YOU! Marley also enjoyed it and was completely entertained for the full two hours. I was amazed.

They did summary shows of Mermaid, Sleeping Beauty, Snow White, Beauty and the Beast and Mulan. And then they did the full show of Cinderella! It was so cute..I didn't get pictures of all the shows, due to the failing battery on my camera-but here's what I did get.

Funny Experience of my Day

Me and Logan are working on spending more time together, we're so busy that we don't always see each other as much as we would like. So recently I've decided to start going to the gym with him, he enjoys it, and I figured it wouldn't be bad for me to start...it has been 3 years since I've worked out. Anyways we take our kids into the daycare their, and Lyv does not like it (mostly cause she's so used to having me in there) So today I hear my name paged and go to check on whats going on, as I walk in I see Lyv standing by the gate with a great big smile on her face..."MOM!! I PEED AND YOU CAME BACK, I'M SO GLAD!!"

So she found the one thing that will make us leave early...an accident.

She is a brilliant child :]

This was funny the first time, I'm kinda worried she's going to continue this trend..I'll cross my fingers.

She is HUGE

She weighs 14.4 pounds & is in the 8th percentile

this might not seem big, but compared to lyv she's double.

Get Ready, this is a VERY LONG Post. As you can see I have been slacking, I've been so busy with work and school is kicking my butt, so I have to apologize for those who have been checking for the daily pic :)

So first My Dad and Sister had their Birthday on September 26th. I think it's so fun they share the same big day. My dad turned 45 and my sister 18...their getting old :)

For her birthday Ash wanted to go sky diving, and yes sandra d. went too, we were so proud and they loved it!!

Now for the Cheer part of this Post.
Alyviah had her big mini cheer clinic debut.
This was her getting ready for it! I told her not to pick her nose, and she said I'm in my home.

She did it with her cousin Emmalee, they loved it and danced the whole time!! We were so proud!!

She had a lot of supporters, her Grandpa, Nana and Papa, Mckay and Amy, her mom and Dad, and of course he sweet aunt Ashlee, who was kind enough to put up with her through out the week!!

And Lastly we were able to bless Marley today. We have waited, so that Logan would be able to give her the blessing! He has worked so hard, and I'm so proud of him. It was an amazing day!! Thank You to everyone who came and supported us

Our sweet Alyviah is starting to do more and more things by herself. Its bittersweet to see. I love watching her learn knew things, but its sad to think she's growing up. The other day she locked herself in the bathroom, when I knocked and asked what she thought she was doing she yelled and I quote "shhh mom, its called privacy" I laughed hard, then realized I know she knows how to lock the door but I don't think she knows how to get it unlocked. Not minutes later she was banging on the door "MOM GET ME OUT OF HERE NOW!!" I tried to coach her through it, but it was not working. We had to go to extreme measures and take off the door handle to unlock the door. My princess was devastated, but relieved when we got her out!!

Its nice to see she really does still need our help with the little things....even if we dont always know what were doing :)

Marley has also achieved some independence...she can hold her own bottle, which is nice when you running around trying to get your two year old ready for church!!

She had her visit to the dr's today and things went pretty good.
Besides a double ear infection && terrible cold my baby is growing and doing well!!

Alyviah has so many cousins, and she adores them all!! So here is my daily post for the day...cousins :)

This is Emmalee, and I think Kiersten says it best when she says...they love each other like sisters, therefore they fight like sisters. Emma is older, so like how sisters are..she's older so she's the boss, and Alyviah like the younger sister does not handle that well. However they love each other sooo much. Alyviah gets so excited to see Emma. They are so cute together, and I am so happy Kiersten and Siua stuck around, so these two could become great friends.

This is Jayda. Alyviah and her love playing together! They are on a little cheer team together that I teach, and it is so fun to watch them! Jayda is the cutest and is always so excited to give lyvi her clothes, and just gave her, her bike, so Alyviah thinks she's the greatest in the world. They love the pool, and everytime they see each other, they think thats where they need to go. We adore her!

McKay and Amy finally got married August 14th, after dating for 5 years. We are so happy for them and I'm totally pumped about my new sister-in-law :)

The Good the Bad and the Ugly of being a Mom.

The other day I watched a episode of Oprah, all about mothers. How so many mothers feel the need to be perfect and put on this facade that life is perfect and motherhood is always fabulous. Not so much.
I am 19 years old and a mother of two. I know I made the choices to keep and have my two girls, but i have to say there are times I do think to my self...what have I done?!
The times when its been 3 days since you have been able to get ready, when your 2 year old looks like she came off the streets, and your newborn is in her swing crying and your on the other side of the door having your own personal breakdown moment. These are examples of my bad times.
My laundry piles up often, my room is a mess 75% of the time, I clean a toy room 10 times a day and a kitchen at least 5 times. Change diapers hourly, and do what I can to get the girls bathed and ready for the day. It is often when I am not ready until 5 that night. Bills to pay with money that is not always there This is my daily life.
After being up all night long last night with Marley, I was in the living room with my 2 girls playing at 8 this morning...before I knew it, it was 10:30 and I was on the toy room couch waking up. Luckily my husband was home and had put Marley to sleep and Alyviah was helping him work on the yard....but really...if he wouldn't of been home what could of happened? How awful did I feel. These are the ugly times for me.
The Sleeping Beauty kisses I get from my sweet daughter Alyviah, hearing Marley laugh for the first time, watching my husband try to teach lyv how to swim and laughing at them the whole time, and at night putting Alyviah to bed hearing her sing to me now and peaking in on her when she's finally fallen asleep. These are my saving grace.
On this oprah episode they had a mom from SLC on there who has a very popular personal blog at www.dooce.com. Its all about her experiences as a mom, and it is funny, and it helps at times.

Being a mommy of two

Oh goodness it seems to be MUCH harder then I had imagined.

I love it, but balancing the two girls has been hard! Alyviah demands SOOOO much attention, that this new baby has sent her for a loop. The temper tantrums have come up a notch, the whining up 4 notches, not to mention she now has decided to be a baby.
LOVES binkis, being wrapped, being burped, being fed her sippy cup thats full of chocolate milk and crying about nothing :)
At the same time she is an adorable big sister. She is so good with her she's learned to hold her which can get a little scary, help change her diapers, always makes sure she has her binki on demand and is ALWAYS checking on her making sure no one is bugging her.

We are blessed to have two amazing little girls though, and we would not change it for the world!!
As for Marley, I believe she came down totally prepared for her big sister. She is such a good sport and pretty much lets lyvi do whatever she wants to her and rarely crys.
She is such a good baby and for that we are grateful
(she pulls a funny face everytime we take a picture, with out fail haha)

They induced me Tuesday April 21st at 10:20 am! My labor went really well this time, completely pain free which was a nice change from my experience with Alyviah. We had a beautiful baby girl at 4:19 p.m.
Here are a few pictures, I'm going to eventually put together a slide show because I have so many cute cute pictures!!

Alyviah is doing really great with the baby!! She is an amazing big sister, and its been so fun to see her with the baby. She has gone back to wanting to be a baby a little bit i.e. being wrapped up like a burrito is her new favorite thing :) Our sweet princess got jondice pretty bad, so today (Saturday April 25th) the hospital sent over lights for her to lay in all day! Its so sad. I hate not being able to hold her. She can only get out to eat and get her diaper changed. I can't wait till she is all better!!

So its been over a week since my doctor told me he thought I would have little Marley....and still NO baby. And not from lack of trying...i tried everything :) but she's stubborn and just not ready to come. However my doctor loves me....and is inducing me Tuesday!! Wish us Luck!!

Dr. Monster

This last week Alyviah had her 2 Year Check up...it was miserable. Her doctor is Scott Mumford, but she can't say Mumford right, so she calls him Dr. Monster. He is an awesome doctor but she hates going and screams the whole time, even when the doctor is not in the room. She had to get 2 shots, which was so sad to watch. She seemed to of had a reaction to them because her leg got really bruised and had a huge red spot that covered her whole thigh. Is that normal?? I dont think it is sooo..I called the doctor but they haven't seemed to find the time to call me back.

I also had a doctor appointment this last week and it went super good. First I'm the biggest nerd ever, I thought I was due on April 30th, but my real due date is April 27th, yeah I'm not sure how I messed that one up. However I'm already dilated to a 2.5 so my doc thought I could go anytime this week..cross your fingers for me. I'm trying to be patient...but its not working, I'm just ready to see our little Marley.

I am a very bad blogger, I mostly just think its because my life is pretty boring and uneventful. I am now officially a "stay at home mom" and its not everything I thought it would be. Its boring. I clean, run errands and when its warm go play at the park with Alyviah, but since the weather has been so bad, we have been contained in the house and I'm going crazy. However, I have had plenty of time to get ready for baby Marley, and am happy to say she could come tomorrow and I'd be ready for her :)
Since I have had all this time on my hands I decided to go to the fabric store to make a blanket for our new addition, and I had every intention of sewing it myself......but things changed and I pinned the blanket together but had my mom sew it, and good thing she did, because it turned out amazing and I'm really excited about it.

So only 4 more weeks left until my official due date, but i'm crossing my fingers I don't last that long, and am hoping for her to come on the 18th. This pregnancy has been completely miserable and I've been sick the whole time so Wish me LUCK :)

Alyviah is also so excited for this baby to come. I think she's going to be a great big sister. She always is talking to my stomach and she'll come and put stickers on my stomach or put her toys by me and say she's sharing with baby mar. She is such a caring little girl. I have been craving raw macaroni noodles and ice this whole time, and everytime she see's me with out one of them she asks if I need my noodles or ice..its adorable. She is also always asking if I'm doing ok and asks if my stomach hurts, if I say yes she says "Sister be nice to mommy, dont hurt her" Its so cute. I am truly blessed to have such an amazing little girl!

This ones all about Alyviah, who turned two on March 12! I can't believe how fast the last two years have gone by. It has definetley been one of the most rewarding, difficult, and fabulous last two years of my life. She is absolutely amazing!! She is a complete girly girl, and is extremely stubborn and fiesty, which will come in hand one day, but for now can become a little difficult haha. She loves princesses and her favorite is currently sleeping beauty. She could live at the park, and loves spending time with her cousin Emma. If I let her she would eat cereal for breakfast, lunch and dinner.
She talks extremely well for her age, which I love. My favorite thing to do is turn on the radio and watch her sing and dance to all the songs even if she doesn't know the words...she'll make them up. She loves clothes but shoes most of all. Its the funniest to take her shoe shopping, because she won't try on anything she doesn't like, and if she does like them she has to put them on that second. She adores her Nana and Papa and it makes her day when she gets to go hang out with them.

WE LOVE YOU LYVI!!!

For her birthday we took her to build a bear. It was so much fun, we were there FOREVER! It took her a long time to pick which animal she wanted, she couldn't decide between the cat, dog or bear...she finally chose the bear. She is currently going through this stage where her name changes everyday and her favorite and most consistent name is Hot Dog, therefore it was no suprise when that is what she named her bear.

That night we did a little party for her, she had lots of friends and family come over. We dressed her up as her favorite princess Sleeping Beauty, and it was adorable! This year I thought she'd get more into eating her own cake, and get messy..but she was way to worried about getting her hands dirty and asked for a fork. Oh well maybe she'll get the concept for her third birthday :)

So after months of staring at an unfinished blog, I sat down and finally finished it. I am very proud of myself, and hope to be able to keep up with it. I'm not even sure what to write about but I'm sure I'll figure it out. Wish me Luck :]
So for now, a little bit of whats going on in my families life. My husband just got a new job at a company called Mr. Network, its still in sales, but its a little more consistent then his last job. He has only been there for a couple weeks, and has already been promoted to be a Team Leader, so that was very exciting.

Alyviah, is turning two in 10 days. Its amazing its already been 2 years, it goes by so fast, and she is so old for her age. She is an amazing talker and you can carry on full conversations with her, which gets pretty interesting. She has become a total daddys girl this year, which is so fun to watch, she doesn't look at anyone the way she looks at her daddy!

As for me I'm about 32 weeks pregnant now, and SOOOO ready to be done! I'm huge, much bigger then I was when I was pregnant with Lyvi. And extremely uncomfortable. However on the positive side, only one more month of working, and I get to quite the day care for awhile! whoot whoot!! I don't remember the last time I didn't have a job. I think I'm going to enjoy being a "stay at home mom" for awhile.
